Growing North Raleigh CPA firm is seeking a tax professional with public accounting experience to join our firm as a tax preparer. We are looking for candidates with experience preparing individual, partnership and S-corporation tax returns. CPA certification is a plus but not a requirement. We are looking for full and part-time candidates.
The ideal candidate would be self-directed and able to work well and communicate effectively in a team environment. Be committed to detail, accuracy and quality while meeting goals and deadlines. Have a range of experience preparing individual and business tax returns, including but not limited to returns that contain Schedule C and Schedule E activity as well as multiple pass-through entities. Experience using Creative Solutions UltraTax software would be an asset to the candidate.
Compensation is negotiable and based on experience and ability.
Candidate must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in accounting, finance or related field. (CPA is a plus but not required)
3+ years recent tax preparation experience (compliance, research & planning)
QuickBooks experience is required
Experience with Creative Solutions UltraTax or similar tax software a plus
Outstanding technology skills.
Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work within tight deadlines and balance workload effectively; strong work ethic
Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities;
Self-motivated and self-directed as well as possessing strong time management and organizational skills;
