Summary of Responsibilities:
The Portfolio Operations Systems & Trading Analyst is responsible for successfully processing security transactions for client portfolios as directed by the Chief Investment Officer and Investment Consultants. This includes performing centralized trade analysis and compliance for client portfolios using rebalancing software. It is the Portfolio Operations Systems & Trading Analyst’s responsibility to continually develop internal processes expertise to achieve maximum benefits from the Firm’s systems technology Assist other members of the team with the delivery of integrated services to clients. Consistently exercising strong analytical skills and working with a sense of urgency and accountability is required to establish and maintain credibility and confidence within the organization.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for executing daily trades, including trade rebalancing. Prepare trade order memorandum, review, and process trades.
Manage rebalancing system and define strategy trading parameters as directed by the Chief Investment Officer
Monitor portfolios to confirm that all portfolios are in compliance with strategy guidelines.
Proactively monitor custodian and internal alerts on a daily basis for change
Systems manager for Firm’s portfolio trading rebalancer, including data maintenance, reporting and special projects.
Oversee, monitor and actively participate in the implementation and maintenance of portfolio strategies to ensure that portfolios are within risk tolerance constraints and comply with clients’ securities guidelines and restrictions.
Research if assets being transferred to fund new accounts can be transferred in kind and that there are no trading issues (redemption fees, limited liquidity, tax impact, etc.) and report findings to Investment Consultant and Client Services Manager.
Give the highest priority to any issues (trade errors, account set-up, etc.) that occur. Notify executive management (both the CCO and CIO) without delay upon discovering an issue. Prepare reports to properly document appropriate remedy. Resolve any transaction discrepancies to assure prompt settlement after consulting with executive management.
Performance Reporting and CRM Systems:
Data administrator for performance reporting system including working closely with vendor to ensure transactions and data are properly recorded and reconciled.
Ensure continuity among Tamarac systems regarding changes to client information and related accounts.
Maintain all client custodial portal (pending launch 2017).
Assist with quarterly client billing process
Update report templates as requested by management
Special projects involving Portfolio and CRM systems (Tamarac)
Implement and manage operational systems, procedures and technologies, including but not limited to:
Advisory fee billing
Performance measurement and reporting
Other projects as requested and assigned by management
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Exemplary planning and organizational skills; efficient multi-tasker.
Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Knowledge and experience with trading platforms (preferred)
Extensive knowledge of portfolio accounting and performance software programs and all other duties and responsibilities (preferred)
