We have an immediate opening for a Senior Wealth Manager. The Senior Wealth Manager has primary responsibility for some of our larger and more complex client relationships. Responsibilities include working with clients to identify their financial goals and risk tolerance, preparing and presenting comprehensive financial plans, determining an appropriate asset allocation strategy for each client, and implementing and monitoring client portfolios on a regular basis. Our goal is to be the financial quarterback for our clients, working with other professionals on the client's team to provide advice on issues including estate planning, income taxes, insurance, college funding, retirement, Social Security optimization, etc. We provide our clients with a high level of service, striving to partner with our clients in an educational and collegial environment to give them the information and tools they need to make the optimal financial decisions for their families.
As a Senior Wealth Manager, you will lead the team assigned to each client. Ability and willingness to lead and mentor Associate Wealth Managers will be a key success factor. The Senior Wealth Managers are also expected to contribute to the growth of our firm by pursuing new business development opportunities through referrals, involvement in community events, and nurturing relationships with other professional centers of influence. As a firm, we are committed to lifetime learning in order to maintain knowledge of more advanced, complex planning techniques and relevant regulatory and legislative issues.
Thorough knowledge of financial planning and investment management, strong relationship management skills, client facing experience and CFP and/or CFA (or progress towards) required. Must be able to lead a wealth management team and mentor Associate Wealth Managers. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience in financial planning, investments, or wealth management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to earn the trust and respect of our clients by exhibiting competence, responsiveness, and care are absolutely critical. You can't earn a client's trust until they know you care.
