We are looking for a Swiss Army Knife Paraplanner, which is an integral part of our team, serving as the true connection between our clients, support team, and advisors. You will enjoy the high-level details of financial planning, portfolio management, research, and reporting. You will be the center of the team, working with support staff on account transfers and client outreach, providing reports and proposals to the advisors, executing trades to implement plans and asset allocations, as well as interacting with clients to assist them with portfolio information. This great communicator, influencer and enthusiastic person will support the vision, positive culture and team spirit across our firm and clients. You will bring a proactive approach and ability to independently carry out the duties of the position. You exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, good judgment and ability to take initiative. You effectively manage your time and multi-task with impeccable attention to detail. You are also confident in your decision-making, even with uncertainty or with time constraints.
The ideal candidate will have:
3+ years financial services experience
FINRA Series 7, 63/65, or 66 highly preferred
CFP designation is a plus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize duties
Knowledge of Excel, MoneyGuide & Morningstar, or similar technologies
Analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to details
Enthusiasm and optimism with a strong drive to support our team
Personal integrity and ability to discreetly manage confidential information
Instrumental in coordinating client data collection and data input during the planning process; gathering and analyzing data, data entry into the financial planning software, assist in developing solutions and interfacing with the planning clients
Develop custom-tailored financial plans, strategies, and solutions to help clients pursue their dreams by understanding their needs, goals, and concerns
Construct portfolios and implement investment transactions
Participate in client meetings
Prepare for client reviews; all reports, investment data, presentations, plans, and programs assembled and organized in advance; may participate as appropriate
Research products and services; assuring that the use of investments, products and technology for the practice is optimized, performs ongoing benchmarking and assists in maintaining the internal watchlists and client portfolio performance
Cultivating and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients
Interact proactively and collaboratively with the leadership team
