The Credit & Collections Specialist will report to the Director of Credit and handle a portfolio of business-to-business customers. The portfolio will include a territory and some National Accounts. Responsibilities will be setting credit limits, collecting, and helping resolve disputes. Collecting will be via phone, e-mail, and mail.
Review credit reports, bank references, trade references, and occasionally financial statements to set a credit limit for a new customer or review one for an existing customer.
Identify and locate delinquent customers to collect payments or resolve disputes. This may be done via phone, e-mail, and mail.
Advise external customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment to prevent product or service delays.
Liaison between external customers and internal customers to help resolve disputes preventing payment.
Identify, organize, and document all efforts using computer systems. This includes details about customers and their financial status.

Education: Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: Business Administration or Accounting Preferred
Experience: 2 plus years of experience in Business-to-Business Credit & Collections Preferred
Computer Skills: MS Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel (strong skills a plus); ERP System experience and familiarity with Accounts Receivable Specific Software is a plus
Certifications & Licenses: NACM Certification is a plus
