This position offers the opportunity to learn and develop in all aspects of comprehensive financial planning with a fast growing firm serving executives and entrepreneurs in their 30s and 40s. The financial planning analyst will assist with delivery of financial plans, participate in client meetings, draft client meeting notes, answer routine client questions and service requests, and participate in the firm’s training and development program. A longer term career path would ideally lead to a position as a lead financial planner and equity participation opportunities.
Responsibilities
Contribute as an integral part of a collaborative team to further the company’s mission and core values.
Draft financial plans and create custom financial analyses
Assist in the client onboarding process and paperwork, including handling opening investment accounts
Maintain a high level of responsiveness, timely manage and prioritize deadlines
Assist partners in creating presentations and materials for business development meetings
Assist and develop in nurturing prospects and relationships with centers of influence
Gather and maintain client data; enter client information into various systems, including financial planning and CRM
Be proactive and always striving to be improving the excellence of the client experience that we deliver, and thereby the firm’s reputation
Qualifications
0-3 years of experience
Proactive team player with a passion for learning able to work in a fast-paced environment
A strong desire to help others with high attention to detail and a commitment to excellent quality of work
Strong desire to learn financial planning strategies and techniques
Bachelor’s degree
CFP® certification or attainment within 18 months of employment
Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and computer skills
Experience with Schwab, Orion, Holistiplan and EMoney a plus
